Hi Jae! They definitely do require maintenence. You have to be pretty careful when things spill on it and water stains are left behind if you don't catch it in time, even though we had the stain blocking sealer put on its still like this. We chose the polished marble bc its more stain resistant than the honed but its still upkeep for sure!
