I was just hired to work as the day-of wedding coordinator for Gordon grad, Joanna Jenkins, on Memorial Day. I just had the honor of meeting her and her mom yesterday evening at Gordon's chapel. It reminded me of the fun I had during our wedding weekend... The photo above was taken on the day before our wedding (July 9, 2009), it is the set up I did for the girls luncheon in my parents backyard. I invited my close girlfriends, in addition to the bridesmaids, for a total of about 16 people. I found these fabulous invites at Michael's (using their 40% off coupon!) and then integrated the yellows, whites and grays from the invite into all aspects of the luncheon.
I cut hydrangeas from my parents bushes (they have oddles of them!) and put them in vases with lemons. I love the happy combination of flowers and fruit! All the yellow napkins were from Home Goods and I did varying ones with white, yellow designs and solid yellows down the entire table.
I put a little tag (made out of the leftover invite cardstock) in each of the water glasses so each person would know where they were sitting.
And a view of the entire table:

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning -- it looks like a magazine shot.
ReplyDeleteOh my! So simple and elegant! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat was one of the most beautiful tables I ever saw, seriously... and so the colors I love... I almost bought a hamper yesterday that matches the napkins. ;)
