My blogging level is not that great this week... but there is a reason (hint above!), I'm not just sitting on the couch watching HGTV (although I do every time I feed Drew, I call it "research". :))... I'm refinishing our dining room set. Yesterday I sanded and stained for hours and went to pick out the fabric for two chairs. I'm not going to say much more because hopefully tomorrow, or maybe later today if I'm lucky, I'll start the reveal.
Here is the "before" photo. Notice that the black chairs don't match the table or the legs on the chairs. Finding those black chairs at a mini yard sale last week for $5 each was the catalyst I needed to get the ball rolling on our dining room makeover. Oh, and AJ handed me $17, but I'll explain later why that is even relevant.
And, completely unrelated, but let me put a photo of Drew in here... we were at a gorgeous mansion this weekend that a friend was house-sitting at and Drew absolutely loved the owners' two dogs, especially the poodle because he could pull her hair. Unfortunately, the dog kept trying to run away from Drew (wonder why?) which is why my pictures were slim and Drew's eyes are closed.
You'd think we stuck rocks in his diaper but really, he's a little fish and had been swimming with AJ. We're pretty sure he'll skip crawling and go directly to swimming. :)
