wednesday loves #8

Before I even begin Wednesday Loves #8, let me just explain my complete ineptness at keeping up with the blog this week. There are two reasons:
1. I have had something every single night this week and I normally blog at night when Drew is finally sleeping.
2. Drew is into everything... he loves to play with the toaster, coffee post, electrical outlets and then chew on any cords. I'd rather not have a good blog post but a son who has just electrocuted himself.

Without further ado...

I just made carrot cake for the first time last Friday... and loved it. Here is the recipe I used from All Recipes.com... it was pretty easy! I'm a cream cheese hater and switched out the icing for some fabulous butter cream frosting (which I could eat with or without the cupcakes I love it so much).





I found this photo on Pinterest and love the idea of using it as part of a baby book (as suggested on Pinterest) or even as part of your Christmas card each year.



I love the look of this wooden box on wheels... it would make a fun toy box or even just using it for random odds and ends like the person staging this photograph did.



I want to do a ceiling like this in our bathroom... picture it with light tan or light blue walls, crown molding and a tan marble floor, pedestal sink and a claw foot tub... yeah, I haven't thought about this a bit. :)



Don't you just want to curl up in this bed and never come out? It looks like a bedroom fit for a princess...



Love this nursery... it's Mariah Carey's for her twins. I'm in love with that giraffe.



Trust me, I'm not trying to get rid of summer AT ALL but I do love love love decorating for Christmas and I'm in love with this idea for a Christmas party:

Last but not least, I'm in love with our newly refinished dining room set... I've been known to just stand around and stare at it. Maybe that's why I haven't had time to publish the blog this week...



And now I hear the little guy banging on his crib... my cue to move it and groove it.
