weekend mini life update

Here is a little life update... it's totally random... I mean we'll go from socks to chickens here, people.

We moved the ferns off our front stoop because of the frost. We moved our planters with the aborvites up to hide the rot and made them slightly more special with some bittersweet I clipped from the side of the road.

Our little man got a new pair of sneakers and I thought it made him look like such a toddler... even if he can't quite figure out how to walk on such hard bottoms I still pop them on his feet so they don't freeze off while we are out and about (and by "out and about" I mean in our freezing house).

Yes or No... was one of our chickens taking steriods?

Here is a fun planter I found in someone's garbage. I'd love to get a boxwood topiary to put in it... maybe it'll go out by our garage (that we will hopefully get in oh... sixteen years...)

Pretty much at this point is when only the hearty continue reading. AJ came downstairs last weekend after putting on some work clothes and I looked at his feet. Notice something? Yes, two different socks. And one of them is one of my dressier socks. Mmm hmmm and yes, in case you were wondering, he did go to Home Depot like this.

Lastly, a little boy and his chickens... He's a lot more brave than I am with those darn things. He just sticks his hand right out to grab them and I run in the other direction for fear they will peck me. Who's more mature?

I was just keeping it real here... I'll be back on Monday morning with something slightly more interesting than AJ's socks.
