friday inspiration

AJ and I went out to NY this weekend to surprise his family. April is in heaven with Drew running around (he is currently occupied with a strainer... why is that the go-to toy here and at home?) and I'm in heaven with a few minutes to spend at the computer with a fire in the fireplace and a blanket on my lap. I'm pretty sure AJ is a happy camper asleep on the floor in front of me wrapped in a blanket. :)

I am in the process of redoing an old table and I'm essentially done, it's just drying this weekend before I can stage it to sell it, but I couldn't get the photos to load before leaving so we'll feature that on Monday. Today I've just got some random photos of beautiful things that I found on Pinterest. Let me know if you want to know where any came from... I forgot to include the links.

  1. My favorite is the long table with pinecones and paperwhites, with natural wood walls in the background, cause the rustic nature-inspired look is gorgeous!!

  2. I like the one with the big tree and bay windows because I like all that LIGHT. I don't like how the tree is overly decorated, but otherwise, nice!

  3. The banister with the garland on it. I love how simple yet festive it is and it just seems so natural. It's like you brought the outdoors inside!
