Good grief is it hard to eat healthily... I hate those hunger pains when you realize the only thing in your house you can eat are carrots. And you know what else I hate? When your sister shows up at your house with a cookie sheet full of the most amazing looking cupcakes. Vanilla with chocolate pudding in the middle... mmm... AND I DIDN'T HAVE ONE. Remember my image this morning about that we'll always regret the cookie and we will never regret that mile we ran... yeah, it's true.
Food intake for today (I'm writing this as we are sitting here watching Shark Tank, AJ's obsessed with this show!):
Breakfast
Homemade oatmeal with half the sugar, apples, blueberries and craisins
1 oz of OJ to take pill
2 Cherrios my little guy fed to me. The calorie intake in these just about put me over the edge. :)
Snack
2.5 eggs with sea salt, pepper, green peppers and onions for a snack
Lunch
Bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and Almonds
Carrots and hummus while watching Temple Grandin with Meredith. AMAZING movie.
Dinner
A few craisins while making dinner
A slice and a half of homemade chicken pot pie (carrots, onions, celery, green beans and peas)
A glass of wine
Exercise:
3 miles with a jogging stroller and 10 minute miles
