Table Setting: Wishing for Spring

What is going on with this weather?!? Trust me, I'm not complaining, 40s and 50s in the middle of winter in New England? I'll take it. And it's got me longing for spring and it's making me think that I could handle Massachusetts for the rest of my life if this is what winter is like. AJ and I have talked less and less about moving to California. But, I'm still ready for bright colors and spring plants, not brown grass and winter jackets, hence this tablescape.

Are you dreaming of spring or are you the type of person I don't understand who longs for snow and more snow for skiing? Anyone going away for a spring getaway? We aren't going anywhere while AJ is on break this week; I'm working on a really fun project for our Master now but it's taking me a bit of time. I'll give you a hint, it has to do with upholstery but it has very minimal sewing.

Next random note, does this next photo have anything to do with spring, besides that I have him dressed for summer? No, but look at his hair. We put some surf gel in it for church. :)

On a different note: The Move It Challenge

I have forgotten to write down everything I've eaten the past two days but I've been so much more conscious about it. And today, after a blogger's comment about reducing the amount of carbs I'm inputting I was pretty conscious about that as well today. I feel better with less carbs but you know what makes me feel fat, slow and tired? That Time of Month. I did give in to a mug of hot chocolate and two homemade chocolate chip cookies my friend Jade made today. I ran a measly two miles yesterday and did three today, both cross training with the jogging stroller. Goal for tomorrow: 60 ounces of water and reduced carbs.
