The only thing that I feel like I've had time to look at lately has been magazines or catalogs... and lately they've been pouring in. I'm not complaining, they are my inspiration until I'm back on Pinterest. :)
Check out these fun ideas that could easily be replicated... hopefully in the next few months around Migonis Home...
from Pottery Barn Kids
These next few ideas would be so fun for Drew's room, but I don't want to go overboard on the theme stuff and clutter his room so I might just do the garland idea:
Pottery Barn Kids
Look at that anchor wall art. PB Kids isn't even selling it... or if they are I can't find it but I love it.
Surprise, surprise... also from PB Kids. Don't you think the flags are great? I'm not sure how I'd do the letter but I think I could make the flag fairly easily.
Okay, now, let's talk some grown-up ideas. AJ thought it would be great to hang the photos in our stairway like this with the rope, wouldn't that be neat? Now here's the stupid thing... I can't find the full photo from the magazine anywhere on Pottery Barn's website. So you can't see the really great sailboat pieces (for lack of a more technical term) that they used to hang the ropes to the ceiling. Page 29 of their most recent catalog, though features it and so does the video I linked to. :)
Lastly, I've been brainstorming table ideas for Easter. AJ, Drew and I are hosting this year! I've always wanted to host a major holiday (why? maybe just because it feels "grown-up" and I have all these ideas for a cute spring-y dinner party). I have this idea to make a long box, window box style, for the center of the table from an old pallet with found at AJ's dad's farm (he's a dairy farm in upstate NY). Here are two inspiration photos for what I hope to make... but no more, I don't want to give away too much. :)

You'll see me on Monday posting about whatever we came up with for the table!
Questions (answer any and all):
1. What photos are inspiring you now?
2. What are your Easter plans?
3. If you were hosting Easter how would your table look and what would you be eating?
