The other day I said to AJ that we should have a kitchen herb garden right outside the window above our sink and then I had a brainstorm... I should use the planter we made from the pallet for Easter (which, by the way, was featured yesterday over at this amazing blog Roadkill Rescue, check them out!)!
I went to Kane's Florist in Peabody today and picked up some herbs. I didn't replant them yet because I'm not sure how to do it because the planter isn't exactly made to be water-tight. :)
I had fun taking some pics of each herb. I got the ones we were most likely to use... and because I have this love affair with the smells of basil and cilantro.
Let me show you where a bit of that basil showed up after Drew ripped it off... I've got it with some lilac I forced in our kitchen window. I've got to finish painting that window frame...
Here are a few shots of the whole room showcasing the kitchen herb planter:
See my little helper whizzing his little rocket around? :)

Have a great night, and tomorrow I will be back with a project inspired by Meredith and her super long hospital stay, and more importantly, an update on her great progress.
Have I said lately how thrilled I am to have you following along? I get the nicest comments and emails from you... thank you. :)
