They are now making for very comfy seating at the dining room table! I know they are a smidge short...
I love how they bring out the tan in the rug (Pottery Barn's Malika rug).
Drew loves the chairs being there. "Loves" might be an understatement... he is always trying to climb up into them.
I think this is why he's a little obsessed with the chairs... they make it easier for him to get in trouble. :)
I used some clay pots to bring out the terra cotta color in the rug and filled them with oregano and some fresh fruit. I had some eggs from the chickens I was keeping out to use, as well... did you know fresh eggs can be kept out for a week if they aren't refrigerated before? No, well I didn't either till I googled it. :)
Don't forget to register for the giveaway of the MyMemories digital scrapbooking / card-making software. It ends on Saturday at 9pm. I wanted to show you this great quote I made into a card in the software program, notice the fun polka dot background.
Tell me, what are you doing for the long weekend? I'll be back at some point before Sunday evening to share with you a great recipe for a Rosemary Fritata if you want to make something special for breakfast on Monday morning. It's uber easy... that's the only kind of recipe I make. :)

I really like the simplicity of your home. I could sink right in. Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! I am in the process of needing to switch out my dining table and chairs...
ReplyDeleteI love your setup!
:)
How about some old fashion casters on the chairs to add height?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the eggs!
Your home is beautiful. The chairs look lovely and that little guy is just adorable. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone, and I just love the idea of the castors! We are totally looking into that this week!
