Well, this weekend AJ spent some time cutting, sawing, lugging, climbing and generally being precise to install three new windows into our bedroom! He still needs to do the trim around the windows but I loooove how nice and new they are... not icky and brown!
He also installed a small square window in the loft / shelf area where an air vent was previously when the space was attic space. It is incredible how much light that little window brings into the room.
This next photo was taken from the doorway into our room.
It has been absolutely down pouring today... this photo shows buckets of rain we were getting.
I think Drew approves. :)

They look great! I am SO, so jealous. Our house has nasty old brown, then painted white, chipping, dirty windows :(

Well since you love comments I will share this - The other day I had a shirt with large gray and white stripes and my sister says to me - "I like your shirt. It reminds me of Jen Migonis' curtains." :)
