doesn't he look so handsome here?
very happy at this moment... and about to stuff myself with fried food I shouldn't have eaten...
look at this view of the ocean... to die for.
It feels SO good to have the studying done. I used the couple of hours I would have studied on Sunday night and cleaned out an incredibly cluttered closet, inputted the church's offering into Excel (I am the Financial Secretary, sounds more important than it is), and switched around some stuff in the living room. Before I proceed any farther, though, let me show you something that made me happy this weekend before I did any of that... Meredith saw Drew for the first time since her surgery!
Drew was running around playing with Kerry (AJ's step-dad) after lunch on the Mass General Hospital patio.
Now for house stuff! Last Sunday Drew and I took a little trip to the White Elephant Outlet in Essex. It's one of AJ and my favorite places to score deals... like remember when I came home with this table for $5? Or this railing for our newly opened up stairway (way back over a year ago)? Well, this time I found another fabulous $5 deal, a trunk that was in great condition. I still need to fix some of the nails coming loose, replace a hinge and stain it but it is the perfect replacement for the box holding Drew's toys in the living room. Why? Because it has a top. Now our living room doesn't look like Toys R Us / primary colored land. :)
The "in progress" shots; I still want to fix a few things and stain it:
Notice that the living room looks a little more open than it did last Thursday.... you'll see why tomorrow!
