Let me introduce you to Cerissa... she, with the help of her mom and sister, threw an adorable birthday party for her son, Bennett, who just turned three. Here she is, doesn't she look like a supermodel the day after giving birth? I mean, really, I had to crop myself out of every photo for three days after Drew was born because my face was so swollen. And I'm not joking.
So, Bennett's birthday was construction themed and boy, did Cerissa implement the theme well..
Check out the table that greeted guests as they came into the party: hard hats, work sheets and aprons for everyone.
Here are the bag lunches and cone cups for their lunch break. Don't you just think those cups are fabulous? I need to remember to ask Cerissa how she did that...
Let's get into the food and all the interesting names Cerissa and fam came up with for everyday items.
Donut holes became "wrecking balls". How clever is that?
I'm a sucker for cutely labeled items... look at how great these snacks are in their little paint tins!
I want to dig into this cake right this instant... chocolate and gummy worms?!?! Yes, please.
Now, here are some pics of the little construction workers in action. Look at them all in their aprons rallying around Bennett as he opened his gifts!
The kids had four work zone stations:
Cerissa set up a great structure that the kids all doned their aprons for and had a blast painting:
The little tag on the favor bag reads "work complete", is that the perfect little way to end a work zone / construction party or what?
Wasn't that such a cute way to celebrate her son's birthday?
Thanks for letting me share, Cerissa!
