Today I have a special treat… I’m pairing with some incredibly talented bloggers to share how we are wrapping our Christmas gifts this season.
Ever since I was in high school I loved coming up with beautiful ways to wrap gifts for my family. This year I opted for a very affordable and simple way that makes each gift look special but doesn’t take a lot of extra time or effort. As an added bonus they look great under our tree!ย Introducing Dollar Tree meets Home Goods… a dynamite wrapping combination.
Like our ceiling paint? The goal is to finish painting over the pink by our Christmas party this weekend. We’ll get the pink off the ceiling if it kills me. ๐
Home Goods has some of the most gorgeous and simple wrapping paper. At $2.99 a role it’s priced at or better than Target and the selection is so much more up my alley than a lot of traditional cartoon Christmas papers.
Each gift was topped with an ornament from the Dollar Tree. That store absolutely can do tacky but it can also do really well at some basics like simple glittery ornaments. All of these ornaments were either in a two pack (50 cents per ornament) or came in a pack of 12 for $1. You can’t do better than that! The secret is to get there and stock up as soon as the Christmas ornaments are put out, which generally is immediately following Halloween because, at least at our Dollar Tree, there are always other people vying for my favorites. ๐ I was just there the other day and they do have some good ones still so pop on over and see what you can find!
You’ve got to check out these gorgeous gifts that the others in this blog hopย came up with! Stefanie from Brooklyn Limestone created this blog hop, I was fortunate enough to meet her in person the same day I met Martha. I love how creative her gifts look with the mini lights!
I adore this great combo of red and black… aren’t the pom poms the cutest? I wouldn’t have expected anything less from Thistlewood Farms.
Isn’t this package style unique? Tatertots and Jello does it again!
Not only do I love these pom pom gifts from Eclectically Vintage but I love how she staged them on the sleigh!
ย Do you ever do anything special for wrapping or are you beyond stressed at that time that it doesn’t matter a bit to you? ๐
I’m all about the Dollar Store for ornaments and HomeGoods for the world’s best gift wrap! Love all your sparkly presents – is there one under there with my name on it?
Thanks! I ADORE your pom poms!!!
Thanks so much for the shout out!
Love, love, love what you have done with the presents!
Happy day rock star!

Thank you! You are so wonderful and creative! ๐
Love these, Jen! So have you put out your presents already? I am itching to do so (since they look so pretty under the tree), but I’m afraid that my kids will destroy them with all their shaking!
For whatever reason my kids listen to me when I tell them not to move them or shake them. ๐ Shocking, especially when I have to remind them 1000 times for other things. ๐
Jen, these are so pretty!!
Thank you so much, Meg! ๐
Love to wrap my presents and make them pretty, thanks for these tips and beautiful examples. My little granddaughter doesn’t want to tear hers up,but those grandsons just rip right into them. lol !
Just like my son, Marlene! ๐
